We have developed many different menus for functions, events, parties and festivals. Here is a taste of those menu items. We can discuss your own event requirements or suggest a small selection of the following to be brought together for sale at your event. All of our foods have the “Sutton-Lomas” rural charm.
Our specialities include:
- Traditional Award winning Cornish Pasties direct from Crantock in Cornwall, Steak and ale, Traditional steak, Cheese and Onion, Traditional Layered Cornish. Large or medium in size. A real winner with those who like a good old fashioned truly Cornish meal. We also have a range of speciality pasties for the more daring.
- Thick cut sandwiches and freshly cooked baguettes, rustic cobs - a full and diverse range of English classic fillings to include beef and horseradish, ham and english mustard, Worcestershire cheeses, tuna, egg mayonnaise. Breakfast fillings can also be catered for here.
- Homemade pies/shepherds and cottage pies - locally sourced lean mince used to create a traditional “Sutton-Lomas” recipe, featuring English vegetables. A range of rustic and wholesome pies, fillings of your choice. These are very popular at sporting events.
- Burgers with a twist: Ploughman's Fayre go into a league of their own with these handmade Gourmet burgers, Aberdeen Angus beef, Blue Stilton and Aberdeen Angus (a burger to die for), Lamb and Mint, all dressed with crisp red onion and fresh homegrown tomato. Homemade beefburgers (when volume permits) using locally sourced farm meats. We also have a Plougman's Fayre Vegetarian option. Without doubt a very popular category indeed. Great at festivals. In fact great at any event!

- Jacket potatoes - hot or cold fillings of your choice. Traditional classics or something a little different. Chilli con carne, Days of the Raj (Sutton-Lomas curry). We can arrange for a choice of fillings which you feel most suited.
- Traditional “Ploughman's Fayre” lunch: A true gastro delight of old England. Thick cut ham or local Worcestershire cheeses or a mix of both served with a carefully selected blend of ploughman's delights an English apple, a fresh stick of celery, homemade chutney, rustic roll, all served in a biodegradable box. Exceptionally popular with summer festival events. This blend of English delights sees subtle changes with the seasons.
- Roast meats - A selection of locally sourced meats bursting with natural flavour and served in a rustic bread roll. Very popular indeed. Meats include roast beef served with horseradish sauce and or mustard. Roast pork served with stuffing and or apple sauce. A real winner at functions, giving you an opportunity to replace pig roast with wider event menu choices.
- Drinks - Hot and cold - We can cater for most requests. Tea and coffee, a selection of cold beverages. Looking for something special? Dandelion and Burdock, traditional Lemonade.
